Modifications in Monday's lesson:
- Song of the Train poem was condensed from two days to one
- Alphabet strip review was added since group did not know all of their letters (PALS)
- Alternate spellings in program were eliminated
- Initial sound sort using objects was added to reinforce the target letter sounds
- Alternate activity was inserted for sound and letter review - sound sheet
- Would You Like to Fly? along with all activities were inserted for small group because no connected text was included for that day for student practice
