Welcome to Reading First in Virginia's on-line registration

Before you can enroll in a summer teacher reading academy, you must register on this website. The process is easy. Depending on what your educational role is (teacher, principal, etc.), we will ask additional questions about you (your school, grade level you teach, etc).

Benefits of Registration

• Once you are registered, then you may enroll in events that we offer in the summer and across the year. Not only will you be able to assure yourself a place in the academy of your choice, but there are additional benefits to registration.

• You will be able to return to this website after your academy, log in, and take advantage of the "value added" components of our state's Reading First project. You will then have access to components of the professional development previously available to Reading First schools.

• This is a completely new feature for Reading First in Virginia. We hope you take advantage of our invitation to join in some of the best professional development in the state...all free for you upon registration. New users, click here to start your site registration process.

For Reading First Teachers and Administrators

• If you are already a member of the Reading First in Virginia website, click here to log in with your existing user id and password.

• You will not have to register for a new password. You are already in our system. Please use your existing log in and password. If you are a new coach, please contact our office for your log in. If you are a new Reading First teacher, please see your coach who can help you with registration.
